Meeting Your Needs
My
name is Aideen Scanlon and together with my husband Justin are the
proprietors of St Columba’s nursing home, and continue a family
tradition as my family have run the home for over 25 years. My
philosophy and mission statement is very simple. To provide
the best care to our residents and to ensure that they are happy at
all times. All our staff are long term members of the St
Columba’s caring team and are qualified in their fields.
Nursing
staff having extensive experience in the specific area of caring for
the older person and Care Staff completing “ Care of the Older
Person” Course FETAC level 5. Because this is a family run
nursing home and also because we live within the grounds of the
nursing home I am very much a hands on owner spending a great deal
of time in the nursing home and ensuring that all of my residents
are happy and that all their needs are catered for. If
